Alice is back at the Playhouse. Back - and bigger than ever. Or is that smaller? You never know in Wonderland. Is it Alice or is it the doors getting bigger and smaller? Either way, it is definitely a good time for a knock -knock joke.
Adapted from Lewis Carroll’s classic by director Diane Dupres, this show is the traditional tale you know and love, with all your favourite characters, but there are still plenty of surprises. It’s one crazy mixed up world full of fun and frivolity.
Join Alice, the Mad Hatter, the March Hare and the Dormouse at a very strange tea party if you dare. You are all invited. And meet the Duchess, her Cook who is very partial to pepper, and the Cheshire Cat.
The White Rabbit is still running late and beware of the Queen of Hearts. She’s a groovy dancer but she does likes to chop off heads!
This show is a wild and whacky ride. The large and enthusiastic cast is having fun and so will you. Wonderful costumes and a colourful set make for a visual extravaganza, and the music and dance will have your toes tapping. Musical direction is by Dylan Shield and choreography by Billie Taylor.
Alice in Wonderland runs from Saturday September 28th until Sunday October 6th. Performances are at 11am and 2pm daily, except for September 28, 29 and October 6th – 2pm only those days.
